Jazz Jam

A Joyful Little Band always looks forward to our next LittleWolf Jazz Jam, and we’d love to see you there!

As a basic concept, we break our time into three segments, but we are always flexible and have fun just going with the flow. The first hour or so, A Joyful Little Band will play a set to let folks settle in and grab drinks. The second section is a traditional open mic, but you’ve got A Joyful Little Band to back you up and play along with you if you’d like.  The last section is a “group play” jam.  We will have some ideas ready to go (often pulled from Hal Leonard’s The Real Book 6th edition), but we highly recommend you purchase your own copy from Heid Music in Stevens Point or your local music store.  It is the definitive collection, and our “go to” for grabbing charts.
