A Joyful Little BRASS Band Rehearsal

Participants will rehearse weekly throughout the summer, building musicianship, ensemble skills, and the vibrant traditions of New Orleans-style brass bands. The season will culminate in several exciting performances alongside CWACT's production of As You Like It at Schmeeckle Reserve in mid-August.
Plover River Crossing Celebration
A Joyful Little Band and Blue Barn Scoops will be helping the Plover River Crossing celebrate their grand opening of a years-long project to create this incredible spur of the Green Circle Trail offering a safe alternative to the busy I-39 Interchange for people walking and biking and connecting the east and west sides of Stevens Point and Town of Hull. Outdoor concerts start at 6:00PM every Thursday evening, from June to August 2026. The lawn along the Wisconsin River will be bustling once again with the CREATE Market, food trucks, beverage sales, and some new surprises.

Rising Star Mill Concert
Step into the lively sounds of New Orleans with Joyful Little Band, bringing classic jazz, rhythm, and energy to the Rising Star Mill as part of the Music at the Mill series.
Known for their infectious spirit and authentic style, Joyful Little Band delivers a performance that is both fun and musically rich—perfect for a summer evening in a historic setting.
Enjoy an unforgettable night of music surrounded by the charm and character of the 1868 Rising Star Mill.
All proceeds from this concert support the Portage County Historical Society and its ongoing operation and stewardship of the Rising Star Mill.
